Yoga Classes

Yoga Classes

Yoga is the main feature of the Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival, with a huge variety of teachers and teachings to explore. We have gathered over 20 senior yoga teachers from Ireland & afar with decades of experience leading transformative yoga practices.

There will be many classes, lectures, and presentations to choose from throughout the day, with a wide variety of yoga styles to choose from including Ashtanga Kundalini, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Hatha and many others. We also offer meditation classes from various traditions. There will be classes to suit every level of participant, from beginner to the seasoned yogi.

Yoga & The Natural World

Yoga & The Natural World

As humans with conscience, we are obligated to try and take care of the environment so that future generations can also live and thrive. The CWYF is dedicated to promoting sustainable life on all levels, especially with regards to food, lifestyle and nature. With greater education and awareness, we can all make a difference, even with the simplest everyday gestures. The Festival will feature lectures and discussions about topics that can help us all improve the way we live on this earth.

Personal Growth

Personal Growth

True change begins at home, within each and every person. Yoga practice is about the refinement of our inner selves and our outer behaviour, so that we can be less destructive and more constructive as we live. By continuing to practice and explore yoga, we can all progress on our journey of growth and personal refinement. The classes and presentations at the CWYF are an opportunity to learn, experience and live the yoga that we all love. There is no better way to grow than to learn from teachers of wisdom and soak in all they have to offer.
